Warhammer 40,000 - Darkness Approaches

The Event

Warhammer 40,000 - Darkness Approaches is a 2000 point 3 game event using Missions from the Chapter Approved 2025-26: Mission Deck, following the format used at Warhammer Open events Warhammer 40k Digital Rules Pack.pdf - Google Drive

Players will be paired up using the Best Coast Pairings App. Players must submit their lists via email to store@thegamesbunker.co.uk no later than end of day on Sunday 29th April. Any current errata's and Codex's released before or on 29th April will be used. Players who fail to submit a list on time will receive a penalty to their event score.

Timings and Missions:

09:00 - 09:30   Registration

09:30 - 12:35   Round 1 - Scorched Earth / Crucible of Battle / Layout 4

12:45 - 13:00   Lunch

13:00 - 16:00   Round 2 - Linchpin / Search and Destroy / Layout 3

16:15 - 19:15   Round 3 - Supply Drop / Sweeping Engagement / Layout 5

19:15 - 19:30 Awards

Event Rules

Players can bring unpainted miniatures to the event, though you will not score battle ready if you do. Proxy miniatures must be checked by the TO prior to the event so please get in touch before submitting your list to confirm allowance.

Awards

We will be voting for Best Army and Favoured Enemy at this event, but this will not affect the final scorings.

Voucher Prizes and Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Placings, Best Army and Favoured Enemy.

Facilities

Parking is available in our car park or on the street. Disabled access is not currently available to all event areas. Please contact us if you need more information.

Food

Snacks and drinks are available on-site however KFC and McDonalds are a short drive away as are Lidl, Tesco Express and Asda.
